Embracing the unique challenges and beauty of the seaside, this garden design fulfills the client's desire for a coastal retreat that is as generous as it is beautiful. The goal was to provide an abundance of fresh flowers for indoor arrangements without requiring the labor-intensive care of a traditional English border. The solution is a naturalistic, perennial cutting garden specifically engineered to thrive in the coastal elements. We selected a palette of cool, soothing tones to mirror the ocean views, intermingled with airy, structural plants to create a sense of whimsy and movement. The result is a resilient landscape that blurs the line between the wild and the cultivated, offering low-maintenance luxury and endless bouquets.
